These types of projects may include examining suitable vessels and/or charter opportunities, conducting marine surveys and examinations for nominated units, as well as coordinating and following up with official paper-work procedures. 3. Marine Surveys

- Condition survey
North Star management and consulting team possess extensive hands-on experience in conducting vessel condition surveys across a wide range of maritime operations. They are fully acknowledged on the procedures, criteria, report formats. and on top of that, client’s security and confidentiality features. Surveys are carried out with strict adherence to client security requirements and confidentiality protocols, ensuring accurate assessments and reports.

- Draft survey
Based on precise measurements of cargo loaded or discharged on the subject vessel, North Star conducts draft surveys with a target accuracy of better than 1%. The surveys are carried out using the high standards of recognized methodologies. North Star’s management ensures quality control, with results clearly and precise survey reports.
- Cargo survey
North Star aims to support the maritime industry with a full range of cargo-related surveys, inspections, and reporting services, including quantity, condition, and handling assessments, supported by clear and reliable survey reports. These services enable clients to verify cargo status, and support informed decisions related to commercial, operational, and contractual matters.
- Under-Water Survey-UWS
Supported with reports, videos and all tools for Under Water Surveying and reporting mainly for vessel under-water hull cleaning and repair, North Star provides its clients with clear survey outcomes. North Star works with professional certificated diving team(s) who are familiar and well-experienced across regional and international maritime environments.
5. Towing Projects
North Star is supported by senior experts and consultants with extensive experience and technical competence in towing operations. The company provides comprehensive support throughout the entire operation, from initial planning through completion. This includes conducting inspections and surveys, equipment, tools, and relevant certificates.
Prior to the commencement of any operation, North Star’s executive team studies the assigned vessels’ tonnages/weights, voyage distances and destinations, time schedules, nautical maps a detailed assessment of all operational parameters, and any other relevant technical and navigational considerations required for safe execution.
Furthermore, and upon client request, North Star may formally represent its clients in registration procedures or negotiations with third parties, acting in the client’s interest to meet smooth and effective operational outcomes.
7. Dry-Docking Management Services
Dry-docking projects can be fully supervised, starting from initial coordination with shipyards to the issuance of final sign-off reports for the assigned vessel. Such projects encompass vessel maintenance procedures, inspections by Classification Societies and Flag State surveyors, certification processes, and other complex activities that vessel owners may find challenging to monitor.
North Star’s management team has the expertise and experience required to administer dry-docking projects throughout the stages. The company’s executives are well qualified in arrangements, communications, quotations requests and costs analysis, and the preparation of technical condition reports and crew certificates and required documentations. 9. Transportation and Shipping Projects

- Technical Management

This includes routine maintenance, spare parts management, dry-docking supervision, and ensuring the vessel meets IMO conventions such as MARPOL and SOLAS to guarantee seamless navigation without technical failures.

North Star is capable of handling insurance claims, and pollution or collision incidents, and ensure that insurance policies are updated in accordance with the evolving risks in global maritime routes
4. Marine Business Consultancy and Planning
North Star provides structured marine business consultancy and planning services to support clients at every stage of their maritime ventures. This includes the development of plans and potential operations tailored to project objectives.
The consultancy scope extends to guiding clients through company and vessel registration processes, flag and classification registrations and analysis supported by recommendations,
as well as P&I Club and Hull & Machinery insurance coverage recommendations, supported by comprehensive cost studies.

6. Salvage Operations
